Dear Star 104.5, I would like to nominate Ms. Vogt for teacher of the week. She is 1 of 2 ballroom dance teachers at the DC Centre on 118th and Stonegate Drive. I have been working with Ms. Vogt now for two years as a dance student and I have seen her develop and blossom into a beautiful and talented dancer, patient and understanding teacher, and a dedicated and hard working individual who is always looking to improve and make things better for herself and her students. She has strengthened my frame and posture as well as my ability to lead a variety of different patterns and dances as well as increased my overall confidence as a dancer and as a person. I now am expanding my horizons and asking people to dance that I do not know very well and having fun dancing with them at the same time. 2 years ago, I would have sat watching other people dance, but now I have the confidence and courage to approach and ask if a person would like to dance. Ms. Vogt is very patient with all of her students and always brings a smile and a fun attitude to all of her lessons. She can make a bad day turn into a better day with a smile and fun comment and even when you are struggling, she is patient and understanding to allow you to relax and have fun but also learn and develop at the same time. Ms. Vogt is the kind of teacher that a dance studio can be built around, and I am glad that I have had the opportunity to learn and improve with a developing teacher that will only continue to get stronger and stronger in everything that she does. She is a young woman that has matured beyond her years as a teacher and individual and it would be an honor to have her be considered for teacher of the week.

Maggie, Just want to let you know how well everything went Saturday for Steph and Ben’s wedding. The decorations were exactly how we pictures them and the food was amazing. I was very impressed with the people working the room…everyone was very polite, always ready to help and answered all my questions. Fantastic. I am often disappointed in customer service these days and I rarely take the time to offer feedback, but I wanted to let you know that the DC Centre far exceeded my expectations. Thank you to you personally and to the staff for helping make their special day so perfect.

My wedding and reception was absolutely wonderful!! The DC Centre was great! I loved how I did not have to worry about anything! I loved the set up for the ceremony! I loved the lighting! I pretty much was incredibly satisfied and will recommend to everyone Thank you for making my day memorable and as stress free as possible!

We had a blast, the ballroom was gorgeous and the ceremony/reception went better than we even imagined. Our room managers were awesome, tell them thanks and thank you for all you did to help us on our day. You’ll come highly recommended.

Carrie, thank you so much for making Anna’s party so special. Turning 15 is something she won’t forget because of the dancing, and that would not have turned out as nicely as it did with out you and Zach. Maggie, Anna’s party turned out perfectly. Thank you so much for making our wedding a success! Everything about the process was easy – Maggie, we really appreciate you working with us over the phone and on Saturdays – it really helped us! Our room managers did a great job of keeping us in the loop about everything and keeping our guests in line. The food was great and the bartenders and kitchen staff were excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for Khari & me, and our family & friends. Everyone had very positive things to say, and we will happily recommend the DC Centre to our engaged friends!

I wanted to thank you and your staff, especially Armana for making my “Celebratation of Life” lunch for my mother on the 26th of June, so carefree for me. Everything went beautifully and I really appreciated working with you.

Oh my-what a wonderful wedding we had! The reception hall was absolutely beautiful and Patrick and JD and the rest of the staff (kitchen cooking staff too) were awesome. We had so many folks tell us the food was the best ever and it was the best wedding they had ever been to… Thanks again for all you did to make our wedding so great. Honestly, EVERYTHING was perfect the entire week prior to and including the wedding day itself. We feel blessed.

JD and all the staff that assisted today were FANTASTIC…..TOP NOTCH….PATIENT…..JD worked his tail off setting up the tables, food, water, and equipment for us. He went above and beyond the call of duty for us. He checked in with us on and off all morning. Then at the end of the morning, he said…”when will we see you again?” Bless his heart!!

Thank you for the generous donation to the St. Patrick’s 10th Annual Dinner and Auction which was held on Saturday, February 21st at your facility. Your support of our parish is greatly appreciated and the fundraiser was a huge success.

Our reception was more than I could have dreamed about. Your staff (the bartender, manager, head manager, and cooks) was wonderful! The food was amazing. We received so many compliments on the food! The banquet managers were so great- all they cared about is if everything was okay and what they could do. I would recommend this place to everyone! Thank you so much for going above and beyond in helping us with our “Dance for a Chance” fundraiser. It was a huge success and the guests had an awesome time! We raised $13,000 for runaway and homeless youth in our community. We hope we can continue this partnership next year since it was a fabulous opportunity for everyone involved. You are awesome people and I’ve enjoyed getting to know each of you.

Thank you and your staff for hosting the Knights and Ladies Anniversary. Everything was handle with class. Josh and his staff was excellent. Everyone loved the food and the Prime Rib was to dead for!!!! I don’t usually care for Prime Rib but it was delicious. Again we say Thank you!

Of all the bridal shows I have done in the past year, I have to say that I am most pleased at the invite to yours. I got to speak one on one with so many brides. That is not so possible with the larger bride call shows. I am looking forward to being at the DC Centre many times this year for wedding receptions and for the future bridal shows.
